I had the opportunity to stay at the Trailborn Rocky Mountains in early December. It is part of the Trailborn Collection of boutique hotels across the US that are located in the great outdoors. The Trailborn Rocky mountains is located in the heart of Estes Park, just 65 miles from Denver, and minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. It is a modern mountain lodge that features newly renovated rooms with updated amenities, a fun bar and taco spot, plus gathering spaces with mountain views. While they turn into Cafe Colina in the morning for breakfast, which includes breakfast tacos, burritos, or Horchata overnight oats, I really enjoyed the drinks and dinner options in the evenings. From their Carne Asada Fries, to their Casa Chopped Salad with Carnitas or their flavorful tacos, you leave full and happy - not to mention their Smoke & Passion ‘Rita.
